Answered . You are mistaken.

There is no “7 year rule”, at least not when it comes to “financial responsibility” (FR) suspensions (such as yours).

In your case you received a FR suspension for having an accident while NOT insured.

You will not get your license back, not in 7 years, not in 70 years, unless and until you satisfy the lien holder (you can pay it in full or enter into a satisfactory payment plan… but either way the lien holder needs to advise FL-DMV that s/he/it is satisfied before you will get licensed again).

As an aside, you should not put personal / contact information on line.

You don’t have a license and now you are practically begging to be the victim of identity theft.

My advise: Call the good folks at DMV in Tallahassee (850-617-2000) and determine who your lien hold is, then contact that person, make payment arrangements and, most importantly, abide by the deal that you cut. If you follow the rule of the 3 “p”‘s (be patient, pleasant and polite) you will be surprised at just how knowledgeable and helpful DMV can be, and hopefully the same will hold true for your lien holder as well.

I hope that I have been helpful in answering your question.
