Privacy Policy
How #HaberPA handles information on criminallaw.miami. Last updated October 20, 2026.
The short version
- We collect what you choose to send us, plus a small amount of technical information needed to run and protect this website.
- We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
- This website does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
- Please do not send confidential details through this website. Sending us a message does not make us your lawyer.
Who we are
This website is operated by #HaberPA (Michael A. Haber, P.A.), a criminal defense law firm at 12555 Biscayne Boulevard, # 893, North Miami, Florida 33181. You can reach us at 1-888-742-7581 (1-888-SHARK-8-1) or (305) 798-2220 (cell), or through our contact page. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean #HaberPA.
Information you give us
When you use a form on this website, we receive what you type into it:
- Contact and consultation forms: your name, email address, phone number, and the message you write.
- The question form: your name, email address, phone number, and your question.
- The free copy of the Constitution: your name (optional) and email address.
If you call or email us, we keep the information you give us in that conversation. Please do not include confidential details, such as the facts of your case, in a form or an email. Wait until we have spoken.
Information collected automatically
- With a form message: the address of the page you used, your IP address, and your browser and device type. We keep these with the message to help us stop spam and abuse.
- Server records: like most websites, our servers record the IP address, the page requested, and the time of each visit. We use these records for security and to fix problems, and we keep them for a limited time.
- Visitor statistics: we count visits without cookies. Our server turns your IP address and browser type into a code that changes every day and cannot be traced back to you, and the IP address itself is not kept with the statistics. We count which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive (for example from a search engine), the type of device and the country, and taps on our phone number, email links, buttons and videos, and when a form is started. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and does not follow you from site to site.
- Page layout: to improve our pages, we record where on a page visitors click, how far they scroll, and which form field was used last when someone leaves a form without sending it. This is counted in aggregate with the same daily code. It never includes what you type, and it is not a recording of your visit.
How we use information
- To answer your message, return your call, or schedule a consultation.
- To keep this website working, secure, and free of spam and abuse.
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
- To meet legal obligations, and to protect our rights and the rights of others.
We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not send marketing email, unless you ask us to.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. A few technical things are worth knowing:
- WordPress, which runs this website, sets cookies only for staff who sign in to manage it. Visitors do not receive them.
- To tell people from automated programs, our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which may use a technical identifier for that purpose.
- Videos from YouTube and maps from Google load only when you press play or choose to load the map. When you do, those companies may set cookies under their own policies. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode.
Who we share information with
We share information only with companies that help us run this website and our email, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Google Workspace, which delivers and stores our email, including the notification we receive when you send a form.
- Cloudflare, which delivers the website, filters abusive traffic, checks forms with Turnstile, and provides Cloudflare Web Analytics.
- Top Law Firm Marketing, which builds and maintains this website and keeps the visitor statistics on its own server. When you send a form, it also receives the page you used and the text of your message, but never your name, email address or phone number, so that we can see which pages bring inquiries. It deletes that message text after 30 days.
- The server provider that stores the website and its data.
- YouTube and Google Maps, when you choose to play a video or load a map.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to respond to a lawful request, or in the good-faith belief that it is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of our clients, our firm, or others. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising.

This website links to other sites, including Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube, Avvo, and our blog at blog.criminallaw.miami (hosted by Blogger). Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle information.
How long we keep information
- Messages sent through the website are kept as long as we need them to respond and for our records, and then deleted.
- Copies of the notification emails are removed automatically from the website’s mail log after 14 days.
- Click and scroll records are deleted after 120 days, and other visitor statistics after about 13 months.
- If you become our client, your file is handled under the law and the rules that govern lawyers, separately from this website.

This website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the website’s administration is limited to authorized people and protected by passwords, repeated login attempts are blocked, and the website is kept up to date and backed up. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, which is why we ask you not to send confidential details through the website or by email.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete a message you sent. Call us or write to us at the address above, and we will respond. You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies, although this website does not need them to work.

The information on this website is general information and is not legal advice for any individual case or situation. Visiting this website, sending a message through it, or leaving a voicemail does not create an attorney-client relationship. We do not represent you until you and the firm have agreed to it in writing, and information you send before then may not be protected as confidential.
