Miranda’s lack of attention to detail led to an ultimate photobomb as she, apparently inadvertently, also revealed to the Facebook world that she may be pregnant…
The engagement announcement read: “I am truly blessed as the love of my life has asked me to marry him. Words cannot express how happy I feel, and how lucky I am. He wasn’t able to give me a real ring yet, but what matters is what is on the inside. I know that we will be happy together, regardless of material things. Be on the look out for save-the-dates! – The Future Mrs. Kelly”
And then the folks began to notice and the comments began to free-flow…
One person, “John” something, indirectly called out the used pregnancy test, saying: “Is that what I think it is in the corner?” while another friend, “Derick” something joked: “Yo lmfao [sic] gotta crop this guys.” Then “Thomas” something commented that: “What, so you’re pregnant too?” and finally “Mark”, a man who appears to be her father wrote: “Honey, you should call us. Your mother is confused.” That comment received 20 likes in less than 40 minutes. At first Miranda seemed not to understand people’s comments, or she pretended not to get it, stating: “Wait… wtf are you guys talking about? Why would you think that?” (and earning 16 likes in the process); but it seems that she quickly realized her mistake one (1) minute later when she typed: “Oh.” (garnering 21 likes).
Shortly thereafter Miranda went public, admitting that: “Hey guys, we’re having a baby too.”
The future Mrs. Kelly’s pregnancy announcement received 58 likes, although it remains unclear whether or not one of those likes came from her concerned father.
Memo to the Folks: Following are Haber’s Rules of Social Media 1 – 5:
Haber’s Social Media Rule #1: Think BEFORE you post.
Haber’s Social Media Rule #2: Once posted always posted.
Haber’s Social Media Rule #3: Don’t post anything that you would not want your mother to read / see.
Haber’s Social Media Rule #4: Cops literally troll the internet looking for folks who go to, look in, download from or upload to targeted (and usually, but not always “deviant”) sites. They also conduct internet “stings”, posing as children or deviants and looking to bag anyone foolish enough to take the bait.
Haber’s Social Media Rule #5: If it’s even remotely relevant to a pending charge then prosecutors will cram your social media posts, and history (sites visited, searches made, etc) down your throat in court.
