Loretta was arrested for child abuse after police were dispatched to her home to discover that she had beaten her 15 y/o son after he had returned from Taco Bell with the wrong toppings on her burrito.
Milton Police Corporal Dean Bishop, the first officer on the scene at the family home, reportedly said that: “The mother was hitting her child in the face”, which prompted him to pull Loretta off of her son and attempt to put her in handcuffs, and Loretta’s subsequent actions earned her three additional charges for obstruction of justice, intimidating a public official and disorderly conduct.
During Cpl. Bishop’s attempt to cuff her Loretta managed to get away, running out of the house and and laying down on her driveway. Per Cpl. Bishop: “She screamed and cussed and yelled and claimed she was having a heart attack”, so paramedics were called. While Fire Rescue quickly determined that Loretta was not having a heart attack it still took three hours and several police officers to detain Loretta as “she didn’t settle down”. Once she was secured in the back seat of a police squad car Loretta advised that she would sue the cops and have them fired.
Per Cpl. Bishop (and basic common sense): “There’s a difference between spanking your kid and punching your child in the face. There’s no sense in ever getting into an argument like that over a burrito – just let it go.”
Memo to Loretta Lynn Armstrong: Yes. I get it. You want your burrito and you want it your way. But seriously? Wtf?
