Meet 33 y/o Johnny Allen Richards and 32 y/o Erin Brooke Lawson of Rogersville, Hawkins County, Tennessee. That’s their mugshots below…
The couple were arrested on Tuesday, June 9th, 2015 after cops had been summoned to their residence twice within a few hours. Both calls were made over loud noises which the caller, a neighbor, believed to have been domestic disturbances but which turned out to be loud sex. After the second interruption by police Johnny and Erin went Malllory and Mickey on their neighbor, showing up at his door, beating him with a rake and then stabbing him with the broken handle.
The victim told police that when he opened his door for Mallory and Mickey, er make that Johnny and Erin, Erin was armed with a rake which she used to smash him directly in the head, breaking it’s handle. She is then alleged to have used the broken off handle to stab him in the arm. Per responding police “There was blood on the end of the rake handle that was recovered at the scene.” After she teed off Johnny took to his neighbor with a “2×2 stick”, which was also recovered on the scene. According to police there were several witnesses who gave consistent statements incriminating the violent couple.
Both Johnny and Erin were booked into the Hawkins County Jail, with Johnny being charged with aggravated assault and with Erin being charged with two (2) counts of aggravated assault. As a bonus, Erin, who was described as being “intoxicated” and who was placed in the “drunk tank” to sober up, slipped and fell, injuring her own forehead. Memo to Erin:
Apart from their apparent inability to have sex without alerting the neighborhood and their warped manner of resolving neighborly differences, Johnny and Erin should have a “frequent rewards membership” at the Hawkins’ County Jail, as they embody the living definition of recidivists. Per reports, since 2001 Johnny has been arrested and booked into the facility forty-five (45) times (for charges including burglary, theft, domestic assault, drug possession, “casual exchange of drugs”, public intoxication, contempt of court and “a variety of driving offenses”) and in the same time period (since 2001) Erin has been arrested and booked into the facility thirty-one (31) times (for charges including drug trafficking, theft, domestic assault, stalking, failure to appear and public intoxication).
Memo to Mallory and Mickey, er make that Johnny and Erin: You cannot blame the system for your choices. At some point you must accept responsibility and either strive to be a better citizen or the system will simply lock you up and throw away the key. By the way, while you are enjoying your respective “suites” as “guests” of the good taxpaying people of the Volunteer State, try to keep your sex noise levels down to a low groan….
