Meet William Taylor and Ray Verhoeven, a pair of Eastern Arkansas hunters who were arrested and charged with aggravated animal cruelty for killing cats while duck hunting in December, 2014.
The picture shows these two complete and utter douchebags each holding cats which had obviously been shot as if they were trophies. Cops found a third shot cat on scene as well. There is no margin for error when I dub these f*ckheads the Douchebags of the Day (maybe the decade).
Per St. Francis County Sheriff Bobby May this pair was caught because of the latest investigative tool – social media. It is a fact that law enforcement uses turning to social media in gathering evidence and solidifying arrests. Remember, every time that you post a picture, so long as it is disseminated on the internet, anyone who sees it, cops included, can capture and preserve it and, even if they don’t see it, once it has gone online, police technicians can always find it (to use a poor saying, “that cat isn’t going back into the bag).
Sheriff May says that these douchebags, Taylor and Verhoeven, had recently returned from a duck hunting trip. Sheriff May said his department worked with the state Wildlife and Gaming and used this photo to track one of the suspects right back to his house, the same house in the photo that was posted online where both suspects are seen holding the dead cats. “From the photo, they were healthy cats so they belong to someone they weren’t strays, so we’re going to eventually find out who those cats belong to,” Sheriff May said. The Sheriff went on to add: “Thank goodness they are stupid. If they were smart they wouldn’t be criminal to begin with.”
Cops untimately determined that the three (3) murdered cats belong to a woman named Ruthie Davis who apparently lives 100 feet from where her cats were killed. I’m sure Ruthie would agree, and I know that I do (and in fact I “signed”) the Twitter Petition LINK HERE calling for these degenerate, sociopathis f*ckwads to serve jail time for their cowardly and douchebaggerous acts.
Memo to William Taylor and Ray Verhoeven: I wouldn’t represent you on a bet… or maybe I would. In 23+ years of criminal defense practice I’ve not been accused of being either ineffective or unethical, having no history of either complaints or discipline as a lawyer whatsoever, but on your behalf, I’d consider blowing that streak just to make sure you serve some hard time with some hard folks.
