At about 3:00 pm on January 29th 2017, after reports that a 2016 Ford Explorer had run off the roadway near Bass Ridge Road and Bass Court, Hamburg Township , MI Police responded to the scene, observing mom and her 5 y/o daughter and 3 y/o son in the vehicle. Detecting signs of impairment cops had mom perform FST’s, which she reportedly failed, resulting in her arrest for suspicion of DUI (it is unknown, albeit not unpredictable, that mom was also arrested for child endangerment or that her DUi was enhanced because she had kids in the car at the time).
In an act of police kindness, and in an apparent effort to avoid having to call child protective services, Hamburg police allowed mom to call her (unnamed) husband to come pick up the kids from the roadside….
But when dad pulled up in his 2007 Pontiac G6 police reportedly noticed that the 39 y/o father was also drunk, and so he too was arrested for DUI.
Memo to Siobhan Theresa Egnot and her Husband: Perhaps the silver lining is that the family that gets arrested together stays together…
