Epic Parenting FAIL!  After Confessing and Ratting out 4 Men, a 52 y/o NoCar Mom is Sentenced to 20 years in Prison for Prostituting her 15 and 13 y/o Mentally Disabled Daughters for $5 –… Scroll down to read more!

Meet 52 y/o Teresa Vanover of Eden, North Carolina.  That’s her below…

This peach, whom I’m formally nominating for the cover of “Shit Parenting” just pleaded guilty to prostituting her two mentally disabled teenage daughters (not that it matters but for a whomping  $5 – $20 per session) has been sentenced to serve a minimum of 20 years in prison, and that is with her cooperating with the government to nab four men who had varying roles in the “prostitution ring”.

Vanover admitted she allowed local men to perform sexual acts on her daughters in their Eden, North Carolina neighborhood for $5, $10 or $20 bills.  Initially the money was used to pay for her husband’s medical bills, but it also went toward supporting her crack cocaine habit, especially after her husband died.

Vanover was charged with 24 counts of child abuse by prostitution and 24 counts of promoting prostitution with a minor with a disability and she got the minimum 20 year sentence on three of her charges and a six-and-a-half year concurrent sentence for her other 45 charges.   She reportedly admitted that she would take her 15-year-old daughter to a neighborhood barber shop, a nearby boat ramp and even one of the men’s mother’s house where she would then allow the men to perform sexual acts on her daughter, or would make her daughter watch while she had sex with the men. Vanover reportedly admitted that when he 15 y/o daughter began to refuse to perform she then began to use her 13-year-old daughter instead.

Vanover had told her kids that were helping to pay their father’s medical bills, and the cops know this because the 15 y/o reportedly told them that months after her father died she finally realized there couldn’t be any more medical bills that her mother needed to pay.  “We don’t have to do it anymore because daddy is dead”, the 15 y/o girl reportedly told police.

Although she was just sentenced on May 31st, 2016, Vanover was arrested in September 2015 and immediately confessed to the crimes. She also led police to the four men who would be charged in the prostitution ring: Thomas ‘Tommy’ Woodall, Everett Ferris Jr, Donnie Carter, and Mickey Snow (pictured below).  Woodall, age 67, owned the barber shop that Vanover would take her daughters to, pleaded guilty to statutory rape or sex offense with someone over six years old and abetting prostitution and is serving a minimum 16 year sentence.  Ferris Jr, age 67, pleaded guilty in March to six counts of patronizing a prostitute and indecent liberties with a child and was sentenced to a minimum of 6.5 years in prison and 36 months of probation.  Carter, age 65, pleaded guilty to two counts of forcible sex offense, two counts of indecent liberties with a child and one count of patronizing a prostitute with severe mental disability, was sentenced to a minimum of 5.25 years in prison and 36 months of probation.  Snow, age 75, maintains his not guilty plea and is scheduled to go to trial in July.

Vanover saw her daughters for the last time after she confessed to police, telling them “It’s mommy’s fault.  I have to face the consequences.”

Memo to Teresa Vanover:  As despicable as you are (and you are truly despicable) at least you are a notch better than the scum that knowingly, willingly, intentionally and probably eagerly raped your 15 and 13 y/o daughters.

Memo to Thomas ‘Tommy’ Woodall, Everett Ferris Jr, Donnie Carter, and Mickey Snow:

Memo to Thomas ‘Tommy’ Woodall, Everett Ferris Jr, Donnie Carter, and Mickey Snow continued:  Sweet dreams…
