Triple L (Ladion L. Logan) was arrested on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 for DUI (which was “aggravated” under “Leandra’s Law” because she had her 6 y/o son in the car at the time), Resisting Arrest and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Why? Well….. 1) She was (allegedly) driving while impaired; 2) at that time she had her child in the car; 3) she smashed her car into a parked car; and 4) when cops arrived she reportedly ought with the responding officers before being arrested for aggravated DUI. But the kicker… well that was the t-shirt that she was wearing at the time:
“Support Your Local Bartender”…. Brilliant.
Triple L is extremely lucky that A) her son was not injured and B) that authorities placed the child with family members instead of in temporary foster care.
Memo to the Folks: In today’s day and age of Lyft, Uber, Taxis, Public Transportation and of course the options of either getting a ride or staying put, please do not make the bad decision to drive if you have been drinking. But, if you are hell bent on driving, then absolutely do not do so with a child in the car. You cannot control what may happen, and if the universe decides that it’s gonna end ugly, well, you can’t take that back. The best decision is the simplest decision: Get a DD not a DUI.
Be smart{er than Ladion L. Logan}: Don’t drink and drive, but, if you do, just say “NO{thing}”, don’t blow (in FL your 2nd subsequent refusal is a crime) and call me stat at 305-381-8686, 305-798-2220 or 1-888-SHARK-8-1.
